Winter, while grey and dreary, is the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a glass (or three) of South Australia’s premium red wines. Luckily for the city dwellers amongst us, one of the state’s leading regions, The Adelaide Hills, is only a short trip from the CBD. If you ask us, curling up by a crackling fire with a generous glass of sumptuous red sounds like the perfect way to spend a winter weekend.
Showcasing the best of the stunning Adelaide Hills, Winter Reds Festival returns in 2017 to fire up winter souls across the city. Offering an array of lavish events across 30 wineries, there’s no excuse for an empty glass as the festival shines a light on The Hill’s abundance of glorious red wines.
To help you get the most out of the weekend (and your wine glass,) we’ve selected our go-to picks from this year’s Winter Reds program, happy slurping!
