New York Fashion Week is arguably one of the biggest events on the fashion calendar – who hasn’t heard about it? And now, there will be a little piece of South Australia in the mix as well. After partnering with Fashion Palette earlier this year for their Sydney Summer ’18 show, homegrown haircare brand Davroe will once again be back on board as the official hair sponsor for their NYFW ’17 show.
Fashion Palette is a platform for local emerging and established designers to showcase their collections on a global scale. They take the show to New York City every year in September with an aim to connect designers with media, buyers and retailers.
As a part of the show, Davroe director Mary Centofanti will be travelling to NYC with her creative team who will be providing all the hair styling for the models during the event. For the past few years, it has been a chance for the brand to showcase their sulphate, paraben petro–free and vegan range to an international crowd – and they’ve definitely proved that their product can perform on both at home and on an international scale.
Past names who have shown at Fashion Palette shows include our very own Paolo Sebastian and Stephanie Chehade as well as Maticevski, Steven Khalil, among many other well-known Aussie labels.
To celebrate, we’re also giving away three very special NYFW Davroe ‘Senses’ Duo packs – enter here.
